Here comes the garlic

With the changes of the summer to the fall/winter garden comes the joy of seeing the signs of new growth appear fairly seemlessly. 2023-2024 was no exception. I love that first peek of garlic in the winter. We are pretty lucky here in MS to be able to transition from summer crops to winter crops without much worry of long-term freezes.

These little tiny tips are the stuff that summer hot sauces and salsas are made of, quite literally. Every product that Laurel Urban Farms produces contains garlic. Garlic is the bridge flavor that binds everything together. We insist on fresh and homegrown. It makes all the difference.
